Long Term Embryo Storage
Today's protocol of re-implanting fewer embryos than previously practiced has lead to the Cryo-bank receiving numerous requests over the last few years to store pre-implantation embryos. In response to these requests, we have expanded our semen storage program to include all reproductive tissues.

Andrology services are performed for local clients on site at our laboratory.
All services require a signed order for specific testing from your physician.

Semen Analysis
A semen analysis is a test done on ejaculated semen to determine a man's fertility potential. The semen is a combination of both sperm and secretions from accessory glands called seminal fluids.
Sperm Washing
Semen is washed to separate the sperm from the accompanying seminal fluid prior to intrauterine insemination. The two most common types of washes performed by Santan ART Bank, Inc.
Density Gradient Wash
sperm are separated from the accompanying seminal fluid on the basis of their motility in a continuous gradient. The sperm-containing layer is then washed again to remove the gradient media.
Swim up technique
The sperm are separated from the seminal plasma, are centrifuged and pelleted. Depending on the ability of the motile spermatozoa to swim upward after being underlain in clean culture media, this motile spermatozoa are collected and are used for insemination
Santan bank requires infectious disease screening of men who provide semen for artificial insemination. To protect the intended recipient and to comply with INDIAN law, Santan ART Bank requires screening for all male clients prior to sperm preparation. The law allows no exceptions for husbands or sexual partners of the recipient.
